Outside there is a large garden 500m/2 with mature trees and a pool terrace, side palm courtyard, with a 10m x 6m x 1.5m deep swimming pool complete with alarm & poolside shower. There is broadband available in the village and I also have other storage space available within 2kms.
No expense or labour has been spared on this renovation, ground floors are tiled in terracota thoughout, all other floors are polished oak & Chestnut with non slip polyurethane coating. Everything works, all new double glazing & hardwood doors, brand new gas central heating & external boiler house with heat bank. Wood burner in the dining area for those romantic winter nights. The house is fully furnished & ready to go, It was meant to be my family home but circumstances have dictated otherwise for now.
The garden & pool are just fantastic right now, I usually swim up to end Sept early Oct.
St Barthelemy is a fantastic village, my boys went to the primary school there & I highly recommend it, there are 2 or 3 decent pubs, the Marie is very pro European. Lots to do locally, great walks, mountain biking by the Blavet, coast is about 45mins drive, Lanester is best for big shops, 40mins away.
There is even a spare 4x4 in the store you can use if you want to insure it & put the petrol in!
This house would suit a family or couple browsing for property in the area or long term live without the hassle I have just put myself through. Reasonable rates & flexible terms, looking for someone to take the place on and care for it & enjoy my hard work!!
